I blått tre skråstilte gull årer med bladene opp. In English: Azure three oars bendwise, blates to the chief.
Approved by the royal resolution of 22 August 1986 after a drawing by Arvid Sveen.
The oars symbolise fishing insdustry as the main form of incom for the community.
