About the Flag

It is a slightly untypical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a quartered background of blue and yellow, usually meaning (town rank).

The arms are Or spiral fluted column Azure per pale between two herons respectant Gules eyed Or and garnished Sable and in base a gable of three rice twigs Vert. Mural crown argent with four visible towers, usually meaning (town rank), and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "ANOBRA".
