About the Logo

On a white field a golden globe is held by two arms of the same, superimposed by a grey sailing ship rigged red over blue waves. Beneath the logo is an inscription in blue capitals: "JUNTA DE FREGUESIA"(1st line) "PARQUE DAS NAÇÕES" (2nd line) "LISBOA" (3rd line, smaller), all centred.

Presentation of Parque das Nações

Parque das Nações is a newly created commune and contains the terrain of the World Exhibition 1998. It allocates around one quarter of former Santa Maria dos Olivais Commune and smaller parts, formerly belonging to the communes of Moscavide and Sacavém, both belonging to Loures Municipality. Parque das Nações had 21 025 inhabitants in 2013 and covers 5,44 km².
