It appears, as if Selmes is the only one of the municipality having no proper flag. There is no flag mentioned within source, but the same source mentions flags of all other communes.

Shield Gules, divided by a 3-arched bridge Argent masoned Sable, in chief a radiant sun Or, in base two wheat ears Or crossed per saltire. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "SELMES - VIDIGUEIRA".
Meaning:
The wheat ears are representing the importance of agriculture. The bridge is the local Roman bridge. The sun is allluding to the golden acres of the Alentejo, to which the municipality belongs.
