Heraldry:
It was confirmed at April, 28th, 1995 by the decision of III city
council session of XXII convocation. The square panel is divided
into 4 identical square fields, in top from a staff red is a
white paty cross, in bottom from free edge blue is white ruins of
castle tower on green mountain, others two fields are yellow. The
authors are V.Bobchuk and O.Ptashkin.

Heraldry:
"On the 28th of April 1995 town council session confirmed a
modern emblem - in an azure field on a vert hill there is an
argent half-destroyed fortress. In the canton there is Volyn'
emblem."

"The first written mention about Kremenet's refers to 1226
when the troops of Russychis defeated the forces of Hungarian and
Polish armies. The Magdeburg Right was given in 1431.
In 1819 in Kremenets' there was founded an institution equated
with Vilens'kyi university. It had a large library - more than
50000 volumes including 1500 incunabula (books printed before
1500). On the basis of the library in 1834 there was founded Kyiv
University."
