Flag Inquiry Response:
Douglas County does have a County flag. It was officially adopted in early 1998 by the Board of Commissioners. The flag is
emerald green and contains the County Seal in the middle of the flag. Underneath the flag are four dates: 1870, 1896, 1956, and 1998. The four dates are in gold and represent the four Courthouses the County has had in its history.
