Para decir; el estandarte de la guerras. La bandera de la miliaria. rulacamil cha, rulacamil laual y rulacamil hucum. velar de navío. ah lacam. alférez.

Lacam: bandera. estandarte. pendón. es tambien apellido. lacam.

Both links above say that "Lakam" is also used as a surname, and the former mentions a flag-related military rank, ah lacam, which is translated as alférez.

I tried to find Mayan pictograms for "lakam", with unsatisfactory results and conflicting information: In this Virginia University document, two pictograms are listed and glossed, and illustrated in two pages of the same site:

However, given the scarce amount of available information on line, in my opinion we should only trust if a Mayanist clearly informs that a given pictogram means "flag"; no need to make shaky linguistic inferences.
